Tour Preparation Event

Today’s special event was a gathering of our participants in our May 2019 tour of Sicily along with our Beginners Italian students. Everyone was greeted with live music courtesy of Steve Black along with an aperitif consisting of finger foods, prosecco, and Nero D’Avola Sicilian wine. The final itineraries were introduced as well as a brief overview of some of the things to expect and prepare for while on tour. A discussion of the legend of the Moorish Heads was made as well as some coffee culture talk. Everyone was eager to further their studies of the language and knowledge of the island, as Sicily offers an array of diverse cultures that contributed to its rich history.
